How to Find Your Microsoft Office Product Key Installed on Your PC
If you've ever needed to re-install the Microsoft Office, you've probably run into one key hurdle: finding your Office product key. Depending on the version of Office you’re using and how it was installed, the product key may or may not be easy to retrieve.

Find the Product Key Using Command Prompt
Step 1: Open Command Prompt as Administrator
Step 2: Enter below command based on your computer system.
For 32-bit Office on 32-bit Windows:
cscript "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16\OSPP.VBS" /dstatus
For 64-bit Office on 64-bit Windows:
cscript "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16\OSPP.VBS" /dstatus
Step 3: Look for this output
You can see the last 5 characters of installed product key: XXXXX. While this doesn’t reveal the full key, it's useful for verifying which key is active on your PC.
How to remove unwanted office Keys from your PC ?
Enter below command based on your computer system.
For 32-bit Office on 64-bit Windows:
cscript "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16\OSPP.VBS" /unpkey:[5KEYS]
For 64-bit Office on 64-bit Windows:
cscript "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16\OSPP.VBS" /unpkey:[5KEYS]
